  • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your private guide will meet you.
  • Transfer to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax after your journey.
  • If time allows, explore the vibrant city of Arusha or visit the Cultural Heritage Centre.
  • Overnight at Mawe’s Lodge’s selected lodge in Arusha.

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll receive a warm welcome before being transferred to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. After a long journey, take time to relax and enjoy a restful night. If time allows, you can explore Arusha’s vibrant streets, offering a glimpse into Tanzanian life and culture.

 

As the gateway to some of Africa’s most breathtaking landscapes, Arusha sits at the base of Mount Meru, the second-highest mountain in Tanzania. This lively town is a perfect stopover before or after your safari, with opportunities to visit local markets, coffee plantations, museums, and craft shops.
